7.3 scrubbing bug??
 

I am in the middle of a large vo editing project. This project requires scrubbing. I have noticed that after about an hour or so of editing (intermitently), when I scrub, I recieve this God awful distortion when I try to scrub. The only thing that fixes it is tossing the prefs. I never had this problem in 7.1 (or earlier)

Any ideas?????

I forgot to mention that in addition to the distortion problem (which I am recieveing zero help with), everytime I scrub a region I hear 3 or 4 sharp "pops/clicks" at the very end of the scrubbing action. Very plesant.

I think this may be related to the Mbox 'noise blast' issue, which currently does not have a solid solution.

If you restart the computer and reopen the session, does the noise still occur or does it go away only after trashing preferences?

I have not tried a reboot because trashing the prefs is faster. But the next time it happens I will try it.

This problem still exists in 7.3.1

Here's my setup again....

Dual 2gig G5, 2.5 gig RAM, 10.4.6, PTle 7.3.1, MBox 1

I am not having this problem on my other machine. Here are it's specs'
Mac Pro Tower, 4 gig RAM, 10.4.8, PTle 7.3.1 Mbox 2 Pro.
