Spanner vs PT
Anyone here using Spanner ? Pros and cons vs PT's panner ?

Try it...get the demo. |
The possibility of volume automation for each individual channel on a multichannel track alone is worth buying it, imho. (Actually that should be a PT feature...)
As mgoorevich said it's not just a panner, it is so much more and I use it all the time. |
No more surround session without Spanner. Really. Easier to use and much more versatile than the built-in panner, and paired with its iPad app, it's really unbeatable.

Spanner is incredibily useful. If you're mixing multichannel formats I can't think of a reason not to have it. Wish there was a Fairlight version!

multichannel sends
Anyone else run into the issue of not being able to use multichannel sends when Spanner is instantiated on a track? I haven't had time to try it out (yet!) but that one was drawback another mixer mentioned to me.

Come on, the stock PT panner is dire. Spanner is miles above it.
