MBox Power light flashing!

Ok, so I re-installed Pro tools because everything played thru the MBox was slower than it should be. Now the Power LED is flashing and Pro Tools can't find the hardware (and OSX can't find it either of course).
I've tried rebooting a couple of times, disconnected and connected the Mbox.

Please, can anyone give me a hand?

MBP (2009 model) OSX 10.6.4
Pro Tools LE 8.0.4 from DVD that came with the MBox

which mBox and what version of PT?

Installing the core audio driver again helped.
This was on the Pro tools mbox.
