I'm sorry that's not something Apple supports.

I'm using Pro Tools 2018.12, which isn't compatible with Eucon 19.5. So what do I do now? |

It will work with PT 18.12 but there may be some unexpected plugin Window behavior.

I can factory reset the iPad, whatever it takes. I'd just really like to get back to where I was with the previous version. My entire system has been working flawlessly just the way it is and I'm really hesitant to update Eucon. I thought I had it locked down but didn't realize there was an auto app update feature on the ipad (it's even on by default!!) |
Re: Downgrade PT Control iPad back to 18.3.0
I have the same issue (posted on a different thread), I am stuck on Mavericks and cannot load 2019.5, it will crash (also confirmed by Avid support). The latest iOS update reset my manual update settings to Auto Update and now PT Control is no longer an option...I rely on this daily for remote recording from my Iso Room. I even reset to factory and restored from an earlier backup but those don't seem to have apps as part of it... I hate Apple so much for that.
There has got to be a way to get the older ipa file... |

Re: Downgrade PT Control iPad back to 18.3.0
So I tried it and failed. I followed instructions I found for restoring an earlier app file. Remove the current one, synch up with itunes, drop the older file onto the device in itunes and resynch.
This added PT Control back to the iPad but it didn't have it's logo and would not launch. I rebooted the iPad and then it just hung in Waiting... If anyone has more luck please share how you got it to work. It was worth a shot. |
