Reverb plug-in

Altiverb or Waves IR-1 V2?

Re: Reverb plug-in

Dont forget TL Labs Space..

I have tried all three of them, altiverb is superior in sound, but also eats lots of power, Waves and Space are good value for money, In my case Waves is out of the question since they do not have HTDM support for mix systems ... but I like the TL Labs Space better anyway so that does'nt matter...

=)

Now all I have to do is to rob a bank .....

Don't Buy into Waves' WUP program.
Your WUPs must be current to download new IR's from their site.
Waves has also been very lax on posting new IR's over the past year (less than 3 a month).
IR-1 will cost you about $85-/yr in WUPs and don't count on any upgrades from the V2.

Personally, I still use my Lexicon MPX-1 for final mixdown.
There is just a magic about Lexicon that not even IR-1 can capture, or any other conventional reverb for that matter.
Panteon, a VST plugin from Lexicon, does come close though
