This merits a new thread in the latest, 2019 version (also because that thread title isn't clear that we're talking about the MIDI edit window). I wanna emphasize that Avid ought to just redesign the cursor, as opposed to us blowing it up or using a 3rd party app to find it. Upping the monitor brightness helps, but it should be just as easily visible when dimmer, like every other cursor in PT (and every cursor in every other app out there). Broken black lines not even fully outlined in white, against a greyscale background.... It's just a poor cursor design. I'm not asking or expecting them to implement slick MIDI tricks from other DAWs. A mere cursor that I don't have to repeatedly waste time locating would be a big improvement to workflow/efficiency/enjoyability.

In case someone finds it useful: on mac, you can increase the overall size of the pointer across all apps in systemsettings, accessability, screen.

+1 with slightly fading eyesight it isn’t easy..... I would love to see perhaps some sort of transparent glow of sorts around the cursor perhaps even the ability to change in relation to the background.

On a Mac at least if you wiggle the pointer grows larger for a split second allowing you see it’s location..... but it used to be a bit of a search at times to locate it on screen.

In Windows go to Control Panel>Mouse>Pointer Options and check "Show location of pointer when I press the CTRL key"
