AIR Frequency Shifter corrupts sessions

I'm sometimes using AIR Frequency Shifter to kind of fatten kickdrums in Pro Tools 10. Sometimes sessions are getting corrupt and won't open when AIR Frequency Shifter is present on a track in the session. After inserting AIR Frequency Shifter, the session opens fine 4-5 times in a row and then it suddenly gets corrupt and the session won't open or PT10 crashes.

I have tried reinstallation of both PT10 and stock plugs and I have tried wiping preferences.

I'm on Windows 7.

Just to clarify, by "stock plugs", do you mean you also re-installed Avid Effects 10.3.10?

Yes, all three installers, just like on your nice screen dump.

When you left-click on either of the words 'FREQUENCY SHIFTER' at the bottom of the plug-in, does it read AIR Frequency Shifter V1.0.2.10105?

2nd question:
Even though it's not listed in your Signature, have you also co-installed Pro Tools 12?

I noticed fellow Member Bunglespice had the same problem - and solved it with a "full uninstall and reinstall of PT10"

I did a full uninstall and reinstall of PT10, but not the effects bundle, I'll give that a shot and report back in two weeks.

If you're going to try a "full uninstall" - Trasher 10's the go (if you haven't already got it!)

Yes, that's the one. And yes, PT12.5.0 is co-installed on the computer.

Let me also thank you for all the suggestions and links.

In the meantime I have found out that I can insert or remove FS, save and load the session multiple times as long as I don't close PT10 itself. After a PT10 start and reload of the session (with FS), PT10 crashes during session load.

Does this mean, as a workaround, if you remove FS before closing session, then PT10 will load without crashing?

Do you know if this problem existed before you co-installed PT12?
