PANASONIC D5 layback?

Hello all! Has any one had to lay back to a PANASONIC HD3700 D5 deck yet? If so what did you use for deck, machine control, and track arm config did you use?

thanks in advance

We use them here all the time. Our engineer made a custom track arming profile in machine control because none of the existing profiles work with the 3700. This is a new option in the version we got when upgraded to HD3. Before that I did the edit on the machine and let pro tools chase. I hope that helps.

The most reliable setup for D-5 that I've found is the AJ-D350 (D-3) node for the 9-pin control.

Hope this helps.
