Erxp won't load new firmware
Hi guys, I bought the Expansion Pack upgrade... no luck in getting it to run. I thought I had performed due dilligance in my last post, thinking it would be ok.
I am not running PT in any form on my Mac Pro. I uploaded the latest drivers for the 11R because the FAQ's said this was a requirement. They installed without issue (though I cannot locate any installed drivers for any Digidesign software on the system) Followed prompts & restarted the computer. I connect the 11R via USB, to my Mac Pro's USB connection on front of the tower. When I try and update the firmware it says it cannot find the rack connected at all. It says that 'contact an AVID rep for further assistance'. Ok, so now I try and find a way to contact AVID, and it says I need to buy some type of incident access request.... VERY lame, considering I just spent $100 on the update, and I now have to spend more money to get any sort of help..... I scanned the forums here for any type of similar incident but could not find anything.... |
