I know everyone has different needs, but for standard music production and 3 piece band tracking with very few plug ins, I'm not seeing a necessity to reinstate my HD 11 license.



It sounds like a decent deal, but for trim automation, surround, and more IO I don't think it would be worth it in our particular case

I am not even sure I’m missing anything, I’m still on 12.5.1

If it was $399 I might consider it....but with everything working it’s hard to justify.

I'm of a similar mind (still happily rocking 12.4), although I wonder how long I should push it before upgrading just to stay current with the workflow.

I'm on an X99-A II build as well, and I'll surely want to spec out a new machine in the next couple of years. I don't want to reacquaint myself with the minutiae of a current version PT at the same time as I'm troubleshooting a new system, which is how I used to do it.

I still have my old 11hd lic resting on an ilok

the vanilla I also have and is current [at/ was 99] a year has everything I use
should I upgrade then Dump it?.. i cant get my head around this... they said you can sell/transfer if its current.. sooo Im already confused.. hence its quiet resting place

Funny how "reinstatement" makes it sound as if those that let their bloated yearly fees lapse are like criminals paying off their debt. Ridiculous of Avid to treat customers so badly.
