Transfer of ownership
Ive searched "transfer of ownership" on the DUC but I cant find any clarity on s6.
Ive acquired a previously owned s6 M40 32-5knob and am trying to figure out how to get it under my avid account. I have SKU/Serial for every module and then I have the license for the M40 software. Its seems the previous owner never took the time to register the modules but I cant do anything with the console until I transfer ownership and get into a support plan and get the latest Version. Anyone have experience with this? I called tech support about this but the Tech said he wasn't sure about transferring ownership and the process involved. |

I did at the time. This was nearly 2 weeks ago. Someone over at GS said they I only have to transfer the master mod. So Ive filled out the Transfer form and placed the serial and activation key on the sheet and am sending on. opened a new case this AM to submit the form. Hopefully, this is the solution and I can finally get into a support plan.
