Crossgrading to a new iLok

Hi,

So I've got a perpetual Pro Tools 12 license without subscription and am looking to do a crossgrade to a new subscription.
I would like to register the new license to a new iLok instead of the old iLok that my current version is registered to.

Do anyone know if that would be a problem?

I can't seem to find any clear answer anywhere. My concern is that because I am cross grading and not buying a new license it would have to be registered to the same iLok.

You are correct. Same ilok is needed so your original license can be replaced with the subscription. This means you will not have two working licenses.

Why would you want to cross grade? You do understand that you are surrendering your perpetual license right? This is a bad deal anyway you look at it.
