AVID Eleven Rack has been discontinued!

Well the time has come and AVID has killed a great piece of hardware and as of 6/30/19 stopped being sold and until 2024 they will support it. Rock on!

I love mine. I haven't found anything I like better - it is *Simple* and sounds great.

Is this possibly a replacement?
I see it says "Powered by Eleven HD" on it and the logo looks similar.

Looks HeadRush licensed the modeling tech and have added some nice features: dual amps, dual cabs, some extra stomps and FX.

I'll be happy if AVID keeps the 11R editor and drivers updated to work with latest macOS / Windows for 4 more years.

Re: AVID Eleven Rack has been discontinued!

I have two Eleven Racks, one is located in my studio rack and the other in located n my live gig roll-around rack. They both sound great, are extremely easy to program and use and are tough enough to easily survive live gigging. The Eleven Rack UI has features that new devices are touting as great “new” features! lol I have considered moving to one of the newer devices but have never found one that sounded so much better that it warranted my making the switch. My Eleven Racks do the job well, work without a hitch and cost me nothing to continue using. I’m staying with my Eleven Racks until they die.

Is there a reason why its not supported in catalina if its going to be supported till 2024? - It was working, albeit not brilliantly in Ultimate until I updated to latest driver. Now its gone.....

The End of Support dates are for replacement parts and repairs, not necessarily driver updates. Anything beyond the Final Sale Date would be bonus essentially:
"Driver updates for some of our Audio hardware products may be provided beyond the Final Sale Date."

I do not know, they said they would keep updating it, it still says they will keep updating it so time will tell.

The editor is only good to 10.9 MacOS and Win10 and drivers are good to Mojave and win10

I would think they should have updated this if they are keeping their word.

I am using mine in Mojave with everything working great.

Well we are in 2021 with 3 more years to go of support for the 11R per Avid and they have not updated to the latest Operating Systems it would be good if they did.
