Metallic type of distortion on tracks w/003

I have a 003 running on Windows 7 x64 with LE 9.06. Everything has been working great until today. I was recording no problem and then all of the sudden, everything I recorded had a metallic type of distortion in it. I tried different mics, inputs, xlr, 1/4 inch, all had the distortion.

The tracks already recorded in the session and other sessions playback fine. I tried opening up PT with a different front end (Fractal Audio Axe FX) and was able to record no problem.

Have any of you ever heard of this happening to a 003? Also, I reinstalled PT and all the drivers, no luck.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
