Does Pro Tools 2018 update to 2019?
 

I have a perpetual license I bought last year for several hundred dollars plus a $99 annual subscription. I currently run PT 2018.12 on a Windows 10 computer.

I noticed that PT 2019 is now out. Users are supposed to be able to update to the new version, right?

I've searched my avid master account but see no place to update.

Welcome to the community.

The latest version appears in your account if you have active support plan. If your support plan has run out, upgrade and then you'll see the new version on the list.

Yes I subscribed last December. I bought Perpetual version of Pro Tools and I paid $99 to have one year support with subscription which is in effect. I just don't see anywhere on my account page that tells me I can or should I upgrade to Pro Tools 2019. I currently have Pro Tools 2018.12. Where would it be on my account page?

My Products & Subscriptions > My Products > Pro Tools > Product Details and Download Links .... look down the list there.

If not there starting an (free) online licensing/activation support case may be the fastest way to get help.

I can help if you can’t find the download. It should be where Darryl said and if it is not there then I will escalate this. However pls start a support case and post the case number here. Things will move faster that way :-)
