oh the irony
Wouldn't it be ironic if the mythical standalone editor was bundled with PT11 and that's the only way you could get it?
"Here's you're effin' standalone editor you whiny bi*c*es, now cough up the $250. $700 for you losers that are still on PT8." :-) How far fetched does this really seem? (do not taunt Happy Fun Ball) |
Re: oh the irony
Could be. I'm sure the guys developing the 11R software don't work for free.

Re: oh the irony
Well, that would almost feel like an insult, especially since I am on Reaper. :(
They should, of course, after all this time release the standalone editor for free, but I could live with the fact of having to pay for it if they included it in the next expansion pack. But I am starting to get a bit frustrated at not having the standalone editor, I need to be able to save my settings with the tunes I am recording in Reaper. |

Seeing many, many 11R for sale in my area. Feels like the beginning of the end. Great hardware product without the one feature customers want.
Stick a fork in it? |

Yeah I'm waiting to get my 11r (for the studio only) (I use a beringher live) - and I plan on getting PT11x64 and my 11r with that - so no I don't thinks it's dead or they would have let those go with maudio also -!!!! It will be here for awhile

Re: oh the irony
I'll believe the Eleven Rack has a strong future when I see evidence of Chris Townsend consulting for Avid on continuing Eleven Rack development.
