8 more busses on 002...

Maybe some of you have figured this out, but I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned and we're all always b-tching about how there are only 16 busses in LE.

I realized this while mixing a project recently and ran out of busses.

patch ADAT OUT to ADAT IN on the back of your 002 (in my case I have an Apogee Trak2 hooked up to the ADAT ports of the 002, so I did this in the routing matrix ) and Voila, you now have 8 more digital busses. If you use the Main Analog out as your 2-track bus, all 8 ADAT I/O would be available to be used for routing.

somehow it seemed ironic when I discovered this... as I kinda knew it would be a short-lived victory. Why didn't I figure this out before... or for that matter, did anyone? and did they share that info. We all coulda used an extra 8 busses.

and... do you know for sure that it's 32, why not 64 or for that matter 128????

more busses, please!

Why speculate? We'll all know for sure in a few days.

Here here ! lets just wait a few days, when we'll find out how much blood is in the stone - then, no doubt this place will be full of threads on what features everyone wished that 7 had.
