Sidechain Delay Compensation

Will this ever get fixed or is it time to start switching DAWs?

If its causing issues for you, tell us in what way and someone might have a work-around to solve it(unless you need a good excuse to change DAW's:o)

the least they could do is implement a native delay calculator tool to allow for measurement and precise manual adjustments. I get that you can manually adjust delay per track, but it gets extremely confusing later in the mix when all I want is one plugin to hear the kick on time no matter what. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I read that HDX delay comp is only with avid AAX plugins too. Plugins also just report incorrectly so it would be nice to be able to run a "SC delay comp check" to see if something is off. (I have this issue with UAD on aux channels a lot). HDX really sucks for tracking thru plugins and is not worth buying just for this.

If anyone has a proven way of discovering, measuring and compensating for side chain delay- please post.

As HD (HDX) features seem to trickle down to Vanilla, we may see this yet!
