OMF files in "save copy in"
I'm backing up as session to an external FW drive, select "audio files" (session format latest) with 48k/24bit WAV as the default, but the process takes ages and the resulting folder contains OMF files - and it's huge.
The only OMF content in the session is a narration import, done with "copy from source media" on. PT HD 10.0.1, Mac OS Lion. Any ideas why this is happening? |

*bump*
Did you find a solution to this? I'm having the same trouble |
Re: OMF files in "save copy in"
When you originally import from the OMF you always want to force to target session format.
Having individual audio files is much better than 1 giant OMF, IMHO. * Just realized the OP is 3 years old! .... oh well, still good advice I think. kasper |

Ah ha, thanks Kasper!
I stumbled across it in another thread too. Still getting used to Pro Tools moving from Logic. |
