Mbox with PT 6.7 and Tiger woes
 

I bought an Mbox from Ebay that had PT 6.7.software. I have Tiger installed and when I installed the 6.7 software on my Mac I couldn't authorize it. It said "Digidesign hardware is in use by another application (-1133) I can't open PT at all to authorize it.The Mbox isn't even connected... What's up?

I believe that when I bought my MBox that had 6.7 software (but I was already on Tiger) I just immediately downloaded the 6.9.2 update and ran it before even trying to authorize.

I'm guessing you know that 6.7 won't work at all with Tiger, right? However, there's no way it will even get to the authorization point w/o the MBox connected.

There's never a point even launching PT LE w/o the MBox connected.
