Pt session tracker app, or plugin

Hi there!

I'm looking for a tool that I can use to track the total time that a protools session has been worked on.
This can be in the form of an external app specifically for protools, or a plugin from a 3rd party vendor.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the community.

Deleted your other thread on wrong forum.

Why not just use oldskool clock, pen and paper? You know even if you have PT open it autosaves every X minutes so any external tracking app would track activity even when you are on a coffee break...

Daniel Alm's Timing app (www.timingapp.com) will track *everything* you're doing on your mac including reporting when and how long a given session was being worked on. Once installed, it automatically tracks (you don't have to remember to turn anything on, or insert anything in a session), and you can browse by day/week/month/year - It's saved me on a number of occasions when I've forgotten to log something or if I need to see what I was working on 3 weeks ago.

I use the Hofa Time plugin and I have made a keyboard maestro macro that will pause the counter if my system becomes inactive for 5 min. That way I do not need to remember to turn it off if I run out for something real fast.
