FW 410 and apogee not playing nicely
 

I have a rosetta 200 spdif'd to a FW410. Im on a imac dual core 2 2.0. PT 7.4. I have an art tps pre, so the signal chain is pre>apogee>spdif FW 410>protools, out of out 9-10 back to apogee to monitors. THIS NEVER CHANGES. All of a sudden, no sw return signal, and the spdif return in the FW mixer is peggeged into the red, though no sound coming out of the monitors and no playback possible with itunes or PT or anything. this setup has worked flawlessly for the past 9 months. nothing was changed. What gives?

Have you tried trashing prefs yet and power cycling all devices, including the computer? You might also try shutting down, disconnecting the FW410, reconnecting it and powering back up.

Im a complete idiot, I had the ins and out backwards on the face of the apogee. I really dont know how that happened as I never touch it, perhaps sticky little fingers where they dont belong.......kids. :D all is well again thanks!
