PT9 cant find 11R
 

Forgive me if this is a repeat but I cant find any information.

My PC died in the ass and I had to do a fresh install of PT9. Did exactly as per Avid recommendations.drivers, etc, etc. I had already updated 11R with the expansion pack prior to my computer crashing.

PT says it cant find the drivers for the 11R so I downloaded the ERXP again assuming that's were the drivers are, but I get a message telling me that I cannot authorize because my serial number and system ID have already been used. Am I missing something here?

Any help greatly appreciated

you need to contact Avid support. They'll get it sorted out.

Wow, your PC "died in the ass" :D never heard of that one :p

The Drivers are not the ERXP, but the drivers for the Eleven Rack. If your Eleven Rack is already updated to 2.0.1, you dont need to run the Firmware updater again, just the first part of the ERXP that installs the GUI plugs for Pro Tools.

You should be running PT 9.0.2 not just PT9. And you should install the Drivers BEFORE installing the 9.0.2 update. AFTER you update to 9.0.2 then run the ERXP again(first part, not the firmware updater)

As always your super helpful. I found the drivers and yeah I'm running the latest PT update. All good, I just sharted when I got that error. Problem solved.
