Latest OS X that works with The system 5MC

Is it possible to know the latest version of the OS X that the system 5 MC support and what would be the latest eucon version compatible with it.

Wow! when Avid means "end of support" they really mean it!

I‘ve installed OS X Catalina on a 2018 Mac Mini and the latest System 5 Eucon driver. On the System my Euphonix MC 5 works flawlessly with Logic X. So there is hope that PT will work, too!

Yes hopefully, it will work with Pro-Tools and we will be able to keep all our usersets. My business partner is installing Mojave this week on one of our system 5 MC, if it work well we will do the same for the 2 other systems.

For other System 5 MC owners that are still on Sierra or High Sierra, Mojave works fine for us. We tested with Pro-Tools 2019.10.0 along with eucon 3.6.1.

We will wait until Pro-tools is approved for Catalina before testing it but It's great to see that the System 5 MC still works well in Mojave. Worst case scenario, we will stay in Mojave forever. :rolleyes:

I run OS 10.14.6 and Pro Tools 2019.10 and that works flawless with 5MC Pro!
