MIDI Sync

I have been using MIDI sync for months to control my drum machine. Usually the first to bars are out of time but it will snap into the grid after that (I am not using input quantize). All of a sudden my MIDI sync has started triggering sounds about 1000 samples ahead of time. The distance between the triggered sounds is correct, however, they all arrive to early. This means I must shift everything forward and then it snaps perfectly to the grid. Why is this happening and why did it start all of a sudden?

Re: MIDI Sync

Check your midi delay / offset settings (PT's Pref).

Why? New install of PT's?, some other setup change?
DC on or off?
More system information would be needed. (Read the help up help you thread)

The 1st bar junk is typical. Just add 1 or 2 empty measures for this lead -in sync.

Re: MIDI Sync

Sorry for the lack of info. I am actually having this problem on an LE system (7.3.1). I am running the rig with a Mac PPC 1.8GHz computer. I don't think I can delay the MIDI signal in LE so that rules that option out. I don't think I have made any additional installs or updates to my rig that would cause this delay. Any other idea's?

Re: MIDI Sync

PT's Pref>MIDI> Global MIDI offset +- 10,000 samples of delay
