Global Automation Modes (and more...)
 

I'm working though the S6 Operation guide. Even though you can target multiple workstations in 18.3, I don't think this is possible with Automation. I created a a layout comprised of two workstations each having ten tracks. The option + automation mode still only works on the targeted workstation. To get each workstation into the target automation mode, I need to switch workstations. Am I missing something?

Lastly, I brought this up to Ozzie (and maybe Jeff), but we would really like to see a INS/DYN/EQ/USER softkey that changes the knob modules. This is a soft key accessible from the automation module. Any update or chance of this?

Any Soft Key function (including automation functions) that you want to apply to multiple connected workstations needs to be defined within the Options of the programmed Soft Key. Within Options you can choose Focused, All or specific individual Workstation to apply the function to.
