Eleven Rack - Distorted audio at reboot
 

I have a macbook pro Retina display 2013
OS C El Capitan 10.11.16

My Eleven Rack is my audio interface. Version 2.0.1

I get distorted audio EVERY TIME I startup or reboot. I have to unplug the USB cable and plug it back in to sole the issue. Any ideas what is causing this? Im guessing a handshake? There is nothing to update as far as the eleven rack that I am aware of. I cannot update OS due to pro tools.

Is the Mac Sound Preferences set to use the Eleven Rack as the main output?
I know Mac has a tendency to try to force interfaces to switch the sample rate. It may conflict with the same rate set within 11R.

If you're only using 11R for the ProTools interface, then we'd need more information.

Describing the distortion or better posting a sample would likely help.
