New PT 10 upgrade won't complete startup: hangs on "Restoring Windows"
 

Hello,

I have a clients system who has PT9 HD running with no problems, PT 9.0.3.

We tried to do the upgrade to Protools HD 10.3.2, did a clean uninstall of 9, then a clean install of PT 10.

Now when I boot up protools hangs while saying "restoring windows".

I tried a number of things, deleting and redoing all the prefs, uninstalling and then reinstalling, no luck. I had to revert back to PTHD 9, which works as expected.

System info: Mac Pro (2008) with 8 GB ram, OS 10.6.8, PTHD 3 hardware installed inside the computer, no expansion chassis involved. double checked all the cable connections and made sure the cards were seated correctly.

Anybody come across this and can suggest a solution?
