2018.7 Ultimate, Sierra, S3, PT| Control/Dock Crashing
 

I have had about 2 crashes per day under heavy use; I suspect it might relate to EuControl (latest versions and firmwares).

The only pattern I see is PT will unexpectedly quit for no consistent reason. Then, a few minutes later, EuControl quits...

Posting just to see if anyone has a similar rig and has seen similar crashes? Or I could be chasing something else but there is no apparent repeatability of this crash yet, that I can see...

I have the same install. The issu came from the S3 power connector that is a bit sensitive and tends EuControl to crash.
I stuck him so it could not move.

Windows machine here but I don't have the S3. I get crashes similar to yours I tracked it down a few to plugins but other times I believe it's Eucon or Dock related. Eucon / Dock iPad stays on after the crash for a few minutes and I have to wait several more minutes after that to start PT without restarting my computer. I think I'm going to disconnect and disable the Dock and Eucon and see if helps. Though I should mention my crashes are a lot less these days.
