License disapeared!
 
Hello,

I've been working and suddenly Pro Tools has closed because of Pace Error.

I've restarted Pro Tools and when I'm trying to activate it says that I don't have any license on my account.

I'm in the middle of a session and I can not work!
Does it happen to anyone?

So.... I was using Pro Tools this morning, no problems - then shut down for lunch - came back and now license is missing from iLok License Manager... I Have a Pro Tools Perpetual license with an active support plan. I started a support case but was hoping there might be some Avid support folks here to respond quicker. I am in the middle of some mixes with deadlines approaching... any help would be appreciated!

Same thing happened to me today! Wish I had a solution, but I am in the same boat - license just went missing in the middle of working. Any thoughts from anyone????

Thanks Jeffro! Been using Pro Tools for almost 20 years and never had an issue :)

Quick update - this morning a license showed up in my account for Pro Tools Ultimate Perpetual Bundle (with 10/11/12+I/O). (Activated to my iLok cloud - license is still removed my physical iLok where I used to be)
When I open Pro Tools it says I am tryin to open a newer version than my license allows. I do have any activate support plan that doesn't expire until next March.

Edu License Problem
 
Hi everyone!!

I've recently purchased a Pro Tools, Education Pricing—1-Year Software Updates + Support Plan for my perpetual EDU license (I'm teacher with Academic Eligibility), but the license stopped working after the process. Every time I launch Pro Tools a pop up error message says that I'm trying to run a more recent version than my license allows me to use despite the PT version I install.

Now when I log into my avid account, if a click in my products, it shows that I have the same license cancelled and activate at the same time. I don't understand anything. I can't work since 5 days ago :(:( and in the ASC portal nobody answer my ticket:mad:.

Hi!!!!

I've the same problem but my license showed now is Pro Tools Perpetua Bundle (with 10/11/12) and when I try to open PT it says the same pop up message, despite the version of PT I've installed. I tried with all what runs whit macOS Catalina.

Your license has a Release Limit in 2021 (right+click > Show Details for the license in iLok License Manager), so it should authorize 10.0 through the current version. You can move the license from your iLok Cloud to your iLok USB Key the Synchronize the iLok.
