Eleven Rack being discontinued?
 

Been seeing Sweetwater dropping the price on these units to an all time low. Is Avid sunsetting the product?

Not that I've heard.. Not that that means anything ;) Possible they are clearing out a PT 12 bundle or something? They've been $699 for quite a long time.

Yeah Sweetwater has them for sale for like $ 349 bucks! Makes you wonder.

I would say sweetwater wanted to sell these units standalone.

$349 standalone is a good price.

The box is a good one....I would like to see a 11v2 or something from them, but even if not it's still a great box.

I got my 2nd one (the live use box) for like $150 it was used.

I would not surprise me if they discontinue this. it's never been well supported by AVID. no dedicated foot controller- need a 3rd party device like Voodoo Labs (which I have) no library of sounds- again 3rd party- instructional vids/updates/or other accessories- nada from Avid.

in the days of Blue tooth, wouldn't you think there would be a stand alone app for i pad for this box? even something hard-wired would be great. I really like the device, but the AXE FX people are kicking AVID's ***** in this department. seems like AVID only wants to focus on subscription-based software. Not that I blame them, but it's a shame to see such a nice piece of gear get overlooked so much.

Sweetwaters deal only includes protools first which is a free version of protools. You are essentially getting the 11R without protools, hence the low price.

I didn't know they still made these! I thought they were discontinued a long time ago LoL.
They were released 10 years ago!!!

As far as version 2 goes, pretty sure the Headrush would be it.

Eleven Rack is not in the latest Sweetwater catalog.
