Eleven Rack headphone port versus MBOX and other interface headphone ports

Eleven Rack headphone port versus MBOX and other interface headphone ports

I'm asking for your feedback on sound quality. When you listen to the 11R's headphone port does it sound better than the exact signal being sent to your interface's headphone port?

I thought you got your issue with the headphone output and the SPDIF connection between your Eleven Rack and the Mbox3 or Saffire interface sorted out in the other thread here . Are you look for another solution?

Its resolved to satisfaction, but there is still noticeable differences and it seems due to either the conversion process or the headphone port. I'm trying to get honest feedback from everyone comparing their interface headphone port to the 11r's.

If I were you, I wouldn't get too tied up in differences in headphone outputs.

These devices are designed to be used for the most part as either semi professional or professional pieces of hardware in a studio environment with reference monitors.

Headphones have their place in the studio but are certainly not used 100% of the time instead of monitors.

To get a real sense of the true capabilities of them, listen to them in the right environment ie. @ line level with monitors.

If you then start talking about the differences between them I think you will be taken far more seriously.
