Dock Fader - Attention Problem

PT 2018.4 Eucon 18.3

Can somebody tell me if this behaviour is a bug or a function that I’m missing.

I’m using just a Dock on it’s own. Under Assign I have Dock fader to <attentioned/selected track>.

Sometimes - and this may be because it’s intermittent or I’m somehow actioning it - when I attention a VCA I get a flashing green light next to the name in the bottom left corner of the Control screen where the attention faders details are. I then can not attention away from it. When I attention away everything else follows like the EQ and Dyn etc but not the fader. Somehow after a while I get it back and alls good until the next time.

I thought that this may be something to do with Spill but I have that turned off in prefs.

I've had the Dock for almost two years and use it every day but this problem has just started ?

Thoughts ?

It's normal behaviour for VCA Spill.
But if you have it turned off ... it's odd.
Well, I've noticed that PT 2018.04 is buggy, or Eucon needs update.
Anyway - I returned for PT 2018.03 which works great with Eucon 18.3...

Can you check the VCA spill setting - Single master Mode ? (In EuControl prefs)

Eddie.
It's on "Assign VCA Master to Dock"

Just to clarify, you have "VCA Spill Overrides Layout" unchecked?

If so, try checking it and then unchecking it (in essence, toggle the setting). It should be unchecked for what you want.

I did a mix today and didn't get the problem I had. I did toggle the "VCA Spill Overrides Layout" and this seems to have fixed it.
This problem started with this particular Pre-mix I'm doing where I had been given a template by a facility who have a Dock / S3 set up. I think that's how it got turned on.

Thanks for everybody's help
