Delivery Spec - Orchard (NY)
 

HI

I am quoting for a TV stereo doc to deliver to Orchard VOD (in NY i believe?).
On the delivery spec there is no mention of levels/loudness....(yes that old chestnut)

I will assume with it being USA, -24LUFS (+/- 1) loudness and -1 TP unless anyone here is any wiser?
So in order to achieve bi-lateral pond future sales, I may aim for -23.5 LUFS with -3TP, thus satisfying EBU128 Euro/Uk (sad to have to add the UK separately in there) and USA specs.

I'd do 24 +/-1 and leave the headroom at -9.
This is so if they need to push the gain to reach a louder target (most VOD services are operating at -18 LKFS) your mix will be saved from crushing.
