Transfer of Ownership - New Software
 
Hey folks,

If someone transfers hardware to you and doesnt supply the software or authorization code, when you buy new software, are you given an authorization code with that?

Yes... the software serial is seperate, and H/W serial is not needed to validate Pro-Tools.

There is also a 'Transfer of Ownership' form and more Digidesign product registration info that might help.

Every new piece of digi gear comes with a new auth code, yes.
