High Sierra 10.13.3 PT 2018.1?
Is the latest High Sierra update, 10.13.3, OK with Pro Tools HD 2018.1?

Seems to be here, though its not the officially qualified version of High Sierra. When in doubt...don't upgrade!

All good here. Ran a few Sessions, nothing too big, yesterday. 2013 MacBook Pro boots much more quickly. The CPU with PT seems to be more efficient. The latest 10.13 appears to be mainly a security update.

Thanks,
I'll probably wait but it's a rare occurrence when you can "officially" run the latest Pro Tools version AND the latest Mac OS. Slightly off topic: 2018.1 seems more efficient that 12.8.3. I just opened up a 5.1/96k mix at home that I'm working on one my systems in NYC running 12.8.3/Sierra. I had to borrow a second HDX card from one of our other systems to do that mix Friday. Yesterday on the home system running 2018.1 and High Sierra 10.13.2, it opened and ran fine with only one HDX card. I even added two more instances of an AAX DSP 5.1 multiband compressor. |

Been crashing for my sadly. I thin it might have something to do with my Mbox 3Pro though. It seems to run better on my internal card.

Bit of a slowdown here in comparison, 13.2< MacOS 10.13.3
However. Pro Tools HD12.8.3 has been the most solid on Mac OS 10.13.2 |

Re: High Sierra 10.13.3 PT 2018.1?
JUST FYI: I am having massive problems with PRO TOOLS 2018.1 on HIGH SIERRA OS 10.13.3 - constant crashing. I broke my own law, a rule I saw a few of you have, to WAIT, and never try to use two new upgrades at once. Paying for it...
