PT 2020.11 won't open or create session
1 Attachment(s)
I tried to open older sessions and then create a new one, but I still have the same message that the playback engine does not support sample rate 32kHz. I'm using Antelope Eclipse 384 on 44.1kHz. It works great with Cubase. I really don't understand what's going on. I'm on MAc OS Catalina 10.15.7

Sounds like you probably have the internal sound source selected instead of your interface.

I think i have selected Eclipse. View attachment. Also it always starts with the warning about TCE plugin.

Re: PT 2020.11 won't open or create session
I find it odd that the driver for the Eclipse is called Eclipse talkback. Might there be another device that shows up with a more appropriate name?
You need to change the clock on your interface to a supported rate. Pro Tools does not support 32K. Open AudioMidi setup and choose what the default coreaudio rate will be. If it's a rate supported by Pro Tools, it won't give you a problem. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Thanks. It has Eclipse Talkback profile which is one channel output 16bit 32kHz. Then there's Eclipse 384 which is the interface. When I changed that in playback engine, everything went fine.
