5.1 Fold down selection.
 

I know 5.1 fold down has been talked about before here but I was wanting to know if anyone has a technique for easily switching between 5.1 and a stereo fold down by simply clicking one button on the M10 touchscreen or even on the S6 mixer itself, which would allow you to toggle between the two for a direct comparison?

The best way is, if you have a external mixer between Protools Out and Loudspeakers. You can make it so, multitrack bus is going out in 5.1 to the loudspeakers and the Stereo PGM is the downmix from this, but you must define the channels. Like FL and FR pass through, Center is mixed like -3db to Stereo L+R, Surrounds are mixed -3db or -6db directly to L+R or are added to Mono and mixed 180 degrees to L+R!

May be you can build this in a Protools Session too or use some Plugins.
