Replacement PT LE 8 cd installer disk
 

Hi

Haven't been here for a while. Went to Digidesign site and no help that I could find.

Anyway my problem is I'm trying to migrate my 11r and PT's from my PC desktop to a Macbook Pro I got recently. I assume I need to have a clean install on my MBP and when I go to install PT with the installer disk the cd drive on my Mac keeps spitting it out. Now the CD is not in the best shape and I have tried it on my other older PC not even recognizing the disk and the PC that currently has PT installed barely boots up to the "Welcome to PT's" screen before it just quits.

Can I get a replacement installer disk from Avid or am I hooped? Or is there another way of transferring my PT's off the PC HDD and onto a Mac Go Flex external drive and somehow have my Mac read the files using bootcamp?

Or am I just plain effed and have to shell out more dollars for a full replacement package? Any help greatly appreciated! Thx

The first thing to do is check your Avid account. You may have access to the full installers there.

You can buy a replacement disc here:

After installing, be sure to update to the latest version of LE8, which currently is 8.0.5 (assuming the the full installer is earlier than 8.0.5 of course)

I need a replacement disk and the link goes to a dead end. I how do I replace my Pro Tool 8le disc that I paid 329$ for and that the tape in the package ruined?
