Problems with Metronome and Axiom 49
 

I am running pro tools 7.3 with an mbox 2 mini on an alienware 5750 laptop with:
Core 2 duo 2ghz processor 4mb cache
2gb ram
60gb internal hard drive 5400 RPM
Windows Media Center Edition

I have read that pro tools is incompatible with windows media center edition but I have been able to start it up, create tracks and change different settings, and even run BFD lite. But I get errors whenever I try to record such as OS interrupts etc. The metronome is also running in a very strange way. It runs chaotically and not in tempo. It stops and bursts in 10 beeps and then stops again. Are all these problems caused by my operating system? I'm really low on money right now and want to avoid spending 200$ on a new windows. I also have a problem with hooking up my M-audio Axiom 49 Midi controler. I installed all the drivers and created instrument and aux tracks in pro tools, yet I can't do anything with the Axiom. It doesn't seem to detect it. Is this also caused by my OS? Thank you in advance.
