Cannot find 2018.3 eucon installer
 

Hey Guys,

I still cannot find this 2018.3 eucon installer on the Avid/Euphonix My Artist section.
The latest version it lists is 3.7
I have both a PT:Control app on my iPad and an old Artist surface, and can't use the iPad app anymore as it updated itself.

I've tried creating a my avid account but it is completely unclear how I link that to the artist portal or my already registered product.

Can you advise? PT Control is a big part of my workflow and I haven't been able to use it for over a week now...

You dont need to link the MyAvid Control App part to MyArtist site. Just register and you will get a new line with EuControl in it. Also in the Artist section of this forum under the release post, are links to the software.

Looks like you already had a my.avid.com account where you activated the product (using a me.com email address) so please check that.

I am just trying to update EuControl on my HDX MacPro to 2018.3 to be compatible with the PT|Control version on my iPad (that auto-updated) and have been spinning my wheels for a half hour.
Eesh... I know you guys are trying to help, but damn, I don't even know what the MyAvid Control App and MyArtist are, I have never registered with MyArtist to get this stuff to work up til now.
Also, "in the Artist section of this forum under the release post" also evades me. I go to main TOC/Forum list and search for "Artist" and no real matches come up other than "Artist Series" which doesn't have any links in any posts unless they're hidden.

Googling "EuControl 2018.3" yields a bunch of gunk, and, as usual, Avid sites where they talk about the download in great detail but never give you a link to the actual update.

And why is it that Application Manager doesn't show me EuControl updates? I trusted that app to update when necessary but it didn't.

You would have had to register your iPad Control App so EuControl will be under that heading in your Avid Account https://my.avid.com/account/orientation

Thanks for that linkm that worked.
Still unsure how to "register my iPad Control App"---certainly not available under Settings in PT|Control, but no matter, they all link now.
As a veteran PT user since 1994, it's tough to keep abreast of all the different ways one updates and upgrades.

When you first launch the App it asks for either your Avid account or to register if you don't have one. If you delete the App and reinstall you will see that again. (I just tried it)
