Re: How long is "Coming Soon"?

they wouldnt of gotten so much sh*it if they released pro tools the same day these "coming soon" features are supposed to come out

its just like games now, they get released unfinished, and u ahve to wait for them to release a day one patch to finalize all the features, or it can be sold as dlc instead.

i can see avid doing that one day, CLOUD collaboration! *releases software without cloud, reveals it is a paid service day 0*

Came to hijack this thread to finally tell you thanks for teaching me how to use Beat Detective in collection mode via Tips and Tricks in 2007. All of my sloppy high school musician friends used to give me their drum recordings to put in time before moving onto guitars. It was quite fun.

Also came here to mention that I do hope soon is soon and that Avid does prove through continual month-to-month updates that this support plan is really worth every penny. It seems like they have a laundry list of things for the first few waves, and we can only wish that there are surprises along the way.

Unless you have some sort of advance beta copy, perhaps your PT 12 Explained video will be "Coming Less Soon." ;)

Kenny, you've taught me and so many others so, so much. Eternally grateful to you for your training videos.

Please keep a count. This thread should continue until the features are released, or until Louis Hernandez Jr.'s books sell out. Whichever comes first. Or, will his next book be released before the PT12 features?
