Unbeleivable: PT LE 8.0 cs2 No Start/Stop Issue Resolution!

On principal, I should just drop the whole protools format for Digidesign's failure to timely address this issue in this CS update. This must be one hell of an issue to resolve or Digi is in denial that to fix it will require a fundamental restructuring of its software code. I have never seen a software provider struggle for so long to investigate and correct a bug. I feel as though there is something very fundamentally wrong with the platform as it currently exists, and there isn't much they can do about it because the solution would require a monumental overall which might bankrupt the company. That's all I can figure out at the moment.

What issue are you referring to? I'm not having any issues with Start/Stop on either of my PTLE 8.x rigs.

So he's complaining about a Windows bug on the Mac forum?

Absolutely. Yes. Drop ProTools. Thanks...

This was a problem back on V7.0 where the buffer error wasn't throwing a dialogue box hence the flashing play button and nothing else. Just increase the buffer.

By the way, love the signature.
