Session Import on PT2018 HD always crashes

Anyone else have crashed on Session Import on PT2018 HD. I have to restart PT a few times before I can get it to work. Sometimes I have to restart my machine to get it to work.

All sessions? Only certain sessions? Newly created sessions? Sessions without any plugins?

Are Track Presets working for you? (They are basically ISD scripts)

You need to narrow it down a bit. I've not had issues with ISD and have not seen users having issues here.

As of right now it is one set of files 6 songs from the current album I am mixing. These were created in PT 12.5 Then used in PT 12.8.3 with out any issues. I have not saved a track preset yet.

Thanks

Importing different session bits all day long. Track presets work like a charm. Right now, a mix project that was started in PT11, migrated to 12.5, and when I got it to 12.8.1 and now 2018. My install was nothing special, just a full install onto my internal HD(after making a couple backup clones.)Have you tried trashing prefs?

Avid got back to me on the crash logs I sent and they said it was related to imports on midi channels SO guess its a VI issue.
