PT11 Crashes random but frequent.
 

Hi,

I keep getting a complete crash in PT11. It seems like since I loaded a V10 session I have had nothing but bother even when using a template that has worked for ages? I have done a complete refresh via Carbon copy cloner and still getting crashes.. I really don't understand? Bearing in mind I haven't changed anything and haven't had this issue until the last week and haven't changed anything major..

PT 11.1.2. Mac pro 2013. Mavericks 10.9.2 VEP server (Latest Version)

I actually updated everything including PT and Mavericks and had exactly the same problem and so have since reverted back to an image I knew was working at the time.... Any clues?

Hardware related? Not much to go on here. Could you please post the crashed thread data from a crash log?

I have been off it after re-installing but had a random crash today.

I have included the log but it seems to be weird? It looks corrupted. Maybe you can do something with it?

Is there any way I can send you something out of the folder user/library/logs/avid. they are all .dlog and .dmp files?

.dlog files are encrypted. You will have to open an Avid Support Case (ASC) to have those evaluated.

I am still getting crashes.. I can't find a uk version of Avid store and my account is locked to United States with no option of UK change?

Also, surely there must be free online email support? The website is so unfriendly..

The files are encrypted. Avid support can take a look if you open a support case.

No. But if you open a support case and Avid finds it is their fault, I bet they refund you.
