Dock strange behaviour

I recently got an S3 and Dock, quite impressed how both completely changed my workflow.

Besides all of that, the only issue I'm having is when I start Eucontrol, S3 and iPad, I got them all automatically recognised and added to Eucontrol, but Dock doesn't for some reason.

All Dock softkeys become purple and when I try to switch off the unit become unresponsive and won't turn off. The only way to fix this is to remove the power plug on the back, switch on and then Dock is recognised by Eucontrol.

Any clues?

I'm running Eucontrol 3.7 and both units have the latest firmware update, Mac Pro - Sierra OS 10.12.6.

I'm having the same problem. I'm probably going to send it in for a $1200 repair.

Wait for some feedback here, if you are having the exact same problem as I it's probably a network configuration issue or something simple to fix

Once a month when I fire up my rig in another studio, I'll see EuCon unable to find the Dock. Usually restarting EuCon fixes it. Have you tried the "cleanEuphonixSystem.app?" I doubt that it's a hardware problem.

It has to do with the switch at the back of the Dock, its not a hard power switch but a soft/sleep one (which doesn't always wake). We know of the issue and are looking into it.

Aha, that may explain, that when sometimes when I turn the Dock off, it stays on as if I've not switched anything.
