Possible to have VCA spill/collapse on soft buttons?
Haven’t seen this anywhere.
But wouldn’t it be great to have access to the VCA groups on the soft buttons? For me organizing large sessions with VCA spill is fantastic. Now I either lock VCA master on faders for quick access or use the touch screen for spilling. But buttons is always nicer and locking faders is not optimal. So that led me to the idea of having them on the soft keys. Is that possible?? Sure having them on faders adds extra flexibility like being able to solo/mute/level VCA groups. But I still think that in many cases having VCA spill buttons constantly up would be great. Any thoughts on that? |

Having the tracks page on VCAs doesn't help ? or Spill Types/VCA ?

Greetings,
Also - you can create Layouts containing specific VCA masters which, once defined, are accessible from a single Soft Key. Jeff |

Thanks,
Was kind of hoping to find a way to spill VCAs without having them on faders at all. And preferably keeping the touch display available for other functions. Surely some situations it would make more sense to have them on faders. Just think it would be really handy to have them so easily accessible on soft buttons. But I guess that’s not possible? |

Currently VCA masters can either be spilled from Fader Modules with either Attention or Menu key workflows or from the Master Touch Module on Attention based on Auto-Spill preferences.

...or what if you could simply type in the name of a VCA like vFoley or vMusic and have it automatically spill into a specific zone? :)
