Dim meters on ProControl?

I just installed a new ProControl with 2 Fader expansion packs. Is there some reason why the main unit's meters and leds are much more dim than the 2 expansion units? It is almost like the main unit is asleep. I know I can adjust the contrast/brightness, but no matter what I do the expansion meters are always brighter. There is no way that I know of to adjust the individual units, just the whole system.
Do I have some sort of software or firmware problem? Hardware problem, maybe? Any ideas? Thanks

You can set the contrast on individual fader packs by pressing <SHIFT/OPT/CMD/F4> on the fader pack. This brings up the Utility Menu on the pack, exclusive of the rest of the system. This will allow you to match the brightness across your system.

Hope this helps!

Thanks, I figured that out, but it does not help me brighten the led meters or rotory encoders. I get the feeling my main unit is asleep or just plain 30-40% dimmer than my expansions. Is there any internal hardware adjustment?..any other ideas?
