Pro Tools HD 10 and OSX 10.9.5
I was on lion 10.7.5 on my Mac Pro 3.1 Due to kemper Rig manager I needed to upgrade to 10.9.5 and from readying on here people were saying even though it’s not supported all was good. I’ve run into 2 issues.
1. iTunes was acting up. Play a song and the GUI would lock up and freeze. I would have to quit it through the dock. 2. Waves Pultec EQ is very laggy. When turning the knobs they are not smooth and the ProTools GUI also becomes laggy when they knobs are being turned I have a GeForce GT 120 256 graphics card Any help or advice would be much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Unsupported config may result in flukes like these...

Fresh install from a erased and formatted drive. I’ve noticed if the plugin is native it moves smoothly if it’s TDM it’s laggy and the pro tools meters, counter etc freeze while the knob is moving

Works fine on my system! But i'm still on Lion as i recommended! Dual boot is your answer. use 10.9.5 for when you're using the kemper then boot back to lion for mixing Chris |

Cheers Chris, I do have a Time Machine backup from when i had OSX Lion on my machine, so dual boot seems like a good idea.
