Massey Plug-ins Keep asking for Fresh new versions that don't exist.
 

Recently, every time I launch Pro Tools, I get this message: "Massey Plug-ins Demos the massey demonstration plugin has expired. please downlad a fresh demo installer or remove the demo plugin from the plug-ins folder: Massey Demos.dpm?" I get the option for "Yes or No" Of course, if I pick:

No. Then everything just continues as always, but it is annoying that this message pops up every time Pro Tools 10 is launched.

Yes. Then it links me to this page on his website where if you Choose Pro Tools, Version 7,8,9 or 10 and then Mac, you get: "This demonstration package has retired and is livin' the life down in Florida."

Will I just always have to deal with this window on launch for Pro Tools 10?

Why don’t you just delete the offending dpm file?

I have and use Massey De:Esser and I think they are all included packaged together in the "Massey Demos.dpm" file.

I'm curious if other people that use Massey plugins are seeing this.

The demo plugs do that. I have since bought some of the plugins so uninstalled the demoes and no more message.
I guess for demoes that run forever, it's not a huge irritant.

I had this issue recently myself. I thought that I had downloaded a free suite of plugs from Massey, definitely the de-esser. I got the same dead end navigation when I got the prompt, and the de-esser eventually greyed out on one of my projects. I just deleted everything Massey and moved on.

It's a bit annoying because the company claims they *never* expire.
